Consumer Confidance

So we had a problem in our living room, right? The jist of the problem was thus: we had shit everywhere. Our VCR and DVD player was sitting on top of a cardboard box. We had two boxes of CDs, VHS tapes, and DVDs sitting open against the wall. We had piles of tapes and video games sitting on a mountain of video game controllers and wires. It sucked. So we went to Best Buy and got a fulking awesome shelf unit that matches the TV. Then we went to Organized Living and got a double wide media tower that holds “up to 600 CDs”. Result? Our living room is now the most awesome place in our house. Period.

I also finally got my check for the stock options I sold awhile back. It’s nice to have money in the bank account, but most of it will disappear in a minute so oh well.

Something else I picked up at Best Buy yesterday was the DVD of the best movie ever: Cabin Boy. The price was $7.99 and that is worth the scene of a flying cupcake sptting tobacco on Chris Elliot alone. Also, David Letterman selling sock monkeys in a seaside fishing village is a bonus. Paul, you know what I’m talking about: Marriott and Dave.

Wisconsin got killed by Iowa. I don’t think anything else needs to be said about that. Packers play on Monday night, and we’ll see if Favre’s knee is as good as they say it is.
